Mark a job urgent
Low, Normal, High or Urgent. Priority steers suggestions toward who can go now and can switch on a rule for emergencies only.

Every job has a Priority: Low, Normal, High or Urgent. Set it when you book the job or change it later with Edit Job.
- For High and Urgent jobs, the ranking favours the technician who can go now over the one who is merely closest.
- An assignment rule can be limited with Only for jobs with priority, so emergencies assign themselves while routine work waits for a dispatcher. See Assignment rules.
- The Urgent job → alert the office automation template under Setup → Settings → Automation & AI notifies the office the moment an Urgent job is created, including from an intake form.
If an urgent job bumps someone else's appointment, move that job in the Scheduler; the customer gets an updated confirmation. See Handling a day that runs late.
