A job or technician looks stuck
A technician shows On Site or Busy with nothing happening, or a job sits En route for hours. Here's what moves it.

Job statuses move when the technician taps, and the office can't set them by hand, so a stuck job is almost always a tap that hasn't happened. Open the job and check which status it's in; see What each job status means.
- En route for a long time. The technician hasn't been marked arrived. The geofence checks them in within about 150 m, so if they parked around the corner or the address pin is off, ask them to tap I've Arrived. The app won't let them jump from driving to Complete Job ("Check in on site before completing this job").
- On site after the work is done. They haven't tapped Complete Job. If the job has required checklist items, the app shows "Required steps not done" until each is ticked; remind them, or edit the job to drop an item that doesn't apply.
- The technician can't finish it. Reassign the job to someone else from Operations → Jobs or the Scheduler (it asks you to confirm because work is under way), or have the technician tap Send back to dispatch. See Job offers: accept, decline or send a job back.
- The job won't happen at all. Choose Archive; it can be restored later. See Edit, reschedule, archive or restore a job.
A technician whose marker says Busy or On Site on the map with no job in progress is usually finishing one of the above; once the job moves, their status follows. If it doesn't, email us the technician's name and the job number.
