User roles and what each can do
Admins, managers, dispatchers and project managers work in the dispatch dashboard; each sees what their role includes. Field staff use the app.

Everyone in the office signs in at the same place and lands in the dispatch dashboard. The menu shows only what their role includes.
- Admin: everything, including billing, payment setup, API keys, settings, and adding office staff or changing roles.
- Manager: jobs, the scheduler, the live map, customers and the technician roster (can add technicians), catalog, forms, reports and payouts to view. No billing or company settings.
- Dispatcher: day-to-day dispatch: jobs (create, assign, archive), the scheduler, the live map, the inbox and messages to technicians, customers, catalog and forms. Sees the technician roster and reports; no settings or billing.
- Project Manager: jobs, scheduling and customers, with everything else to view.
- Field Staff: technicians and drivers on the ArrivePing app; they see only their own jobs.
The roles are the same for every company; Roles & Permissions shows exactly what each one includes. An admin can widen or narrow what one person can do: open People → Technicians & Managers → Internal Team and use Permissions on their row. Buttons for things someone isn't allowed to do (archiving a job, exporting a list) don't appear for them. Billing, payment setup and API keys always stay with admins.
Only an admin adds office staff, changes someone's role or changes a team member's sign-in email. A page that isn't part of your role says so; ask an admin on your account if you need it.
Every company needs at least one Admin; see Delete your account if you are the only one.
